Palm (-Like) Recommendations
I've been happily using a Palm Vx with SusE for several generations. Sadly, this device is fast approaching end-of-life with my having to rerun the digitizer every other day (and yes, I've done hard reboots, OS reinstall, etc., everything short of replacing hardware). While I could go find another one used on ebay, I'd also like to upgrade to a color screen. So, may I ask that if you are happily using and syncing with Evolution 1.4.6 a Palm-like device with a color (or colour) screen, that you post your recommendation here, please? Thanks! I think someone has mentioned that the Tungsten T-3 works. But don't quote me on that. I personally use an M-130. Older generation, but can be had for dirt cheap, color, still long battery life and gets the job done. Preston

I use Tungsten|T2 and m500. No problems with syncing except Cyrillic support. There are some T2 usb-related issues - the USB hotplug stops working after several T2 syncing. In 8.2 this problem irritated me - it occurred too often. In 9.0 it was (mostly) fixed. Think that in 9.1 everything would be OK. A friend of mine uses T3 with linux without problem. The palm device linux support depends on which ID this device has - ie Zire71, T1, T2, T3 have the same IDs (just like m500, m505, m515 and the m1xx series have theirs). Greetings, Alex.
