[SLE] Can't change default WM
Just bumped into what looks like a bug... I tried to select another WM instead of the default KDE via YaST->Configuring susewm, but regardless of what WM I select in the menu, startx still boots KDE. I have icewm, wfwm and wfwm2 installed. Also, I recall KDE in SuSE 6.0 config had a menue entry for restarting WM/selecting other WM, or am I wrong? There is no such option now. What is the easiest way to restart into another WM without restarting X-server or is it no longer supported? This may not be related but you should see if the the wm you want to use is listed in /usr/X11/bin/wmlist (a shell script). I had to add wmx to this list before I could use it as the default wm. (david) PS, I would also like to know how to start another wm without restarting X when that option isn't provided by the wm. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
