RE: [SLE] laptop pcmcia - where are the module sources?

This is ok: the 'modules.img' disk provides the support I need. But, when I was rebuilding the kernel I noticed that 'pcmcia' is not a kernel option.
This is because they are not part of the kernel sources
Where are the sources for the pcmcia modules and how/when do they get (re)built?
IIRC you will need the sources for pcmcia-cs. You can always get the latest version from sourceforge.org. If you do decide to upgrade or recompile there are instructions in the PCMCIA-HOWTO located in /usr/doc/packages/pcmcia. If you installed the pcmcia sources they should be under /usr/src/.
