About 1985 Lotus corporation sued Borland over the issue of look and feel
of its spreadsheet.
Lotus lost because one the code was different and two because the judge
had sence enough to see a spreadsheet had to have that 2D matrix look and
there is no way to patent the idea of a matrix.
