Just remove it from your /etc/ntp.conf Time servers don't just appear in your settings /etc/ntp.conf If its in there and you didn't put it there, then you have other problems. If you chose only a pool server, then this is probably nothing to worry about. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

- Thank you. - in my /etc/ntp.conf i had these entries : server chronos.asda.gr iburst server chronos.duth.gr server nero.grnet.gr server 1.gr.pool.ntp.org ....................... what possible reason could a Chinese Time-Server appear in : server 1.gr.pool.ntp.org ?? .................... i myself did NOT place a Chinese Time-Server in /etc/ntp.conf !! ....................... Now that i have removed server 1.gr.pool.ntp.org the result is that the Chinese Time-Server is no longer connected. thanks regards -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
