[opensuse] u3 flash sticks
my son gave me some files in a U3 usb stick that was formatted as a cd iso plus "extra drive". I needed access to the "extra drive", however my 10.3 showed only the iso. how can the extra "partition" be seen? googling for it invariably points to making a bootable usb stick. tia d. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

make a mount point and mount the iso file. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

No. The reason that the other partition cannot be seen is that the partition table is screwed up in such a way that WinCrap can use it, but nobody else can. It is the ultimate in Gatesian cynicism. What you need to do is to make a new partition table, and partition it the way you want it to be (one single partition or two). -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
