[opensuse] Veto view of other partitions in SuSE11
Hi list - I've got a dual boot laptop with Wintendo and SuSE11. Normally the users using this one laptop boots into SuSE. - BUT...from within SuSE11 using the "My Computer" icon and the green gecko, one may browse the Windows partition. - this Windows partition is not mentioned permanently in /etc/fstab. SuSE11 show them dynamically. However, I need to permanently VETO these partitions, i.e., make them invisible. How can I prevent them from being visible at all? Any ideas... -- ------------------------------ Med venlig hilsen/Best regards Verner Kjærsgaard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Verner, Are you sure it isn't in fstab? Only 11.0, I have: /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_SAMSUNG_HM320JIS16LJD0PC03486-part2 /windows/C ntfs-3g users,gid=users,fmask=133,dmask=022,locale=en_US.UTF-8 0 0 as the line that mounts the winders partition. Try: grep ntfs-3g /etc/fstab just to make sure. I don't see how else it would be mounted. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
