[SLE] WVDIAL timeouts (followup)
I did some research on the internet and came up with the following URL, which may be of some use: http://www.worldvisions.ca/wvdial/ Interestingly enough, WVDIAL has been touted as overcoming 'pppd died unexpectedly' error, which I have recently encountered with Suse Linux v6.2. I have sent a short inquiry to the worldvisions staff, asking for some help with the problem I have been encountering. I will post my findings here in case someone else might find it beneficial. Wish me luck. Ever since I started using wvdial, it has been my internet utility of choice so far. My ISP closes the connection after a period of inactivity, but wvdial just re-dials automatically unless I kill it myself. That's what I call service. Phil On Tue, 30 Nov 1999 w7ntf@aol.com wrote:
