[opensuse] Screensavers and fonts
I finally was able to 11.3 (64 bit) installed amid more crashes than a NASCAR race but I'm still having a couple of minor issues. First of all, I cannot get the display font to change in either FireFox or Thunderbird. It's stuck at a very small fixed font and is very difficult to read the menus, lists of emails, status bar, etc. The other issue involves not being able to list the openGL screensavers in KDE. They're all listed in Gnome (which I don't use) but are nowhere to be found in KDE. Up until 11.3, I never had either one of these problems (granted they are somewhat trivial) in any version of SuSE/Opensuse (been a user since 7.2). Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm sure it has something to do with Gnome and the fact that I had so many packages that didn't install properly during the installation process but for the most part my system is working well. Not your fault, it's a known regression in 11.3 and will be online updated shortly: http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=624288 Will -- Will Stephenson, openSUSE Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH - Nürnberg - AG Nürnberg - HRB 16746 - GF: Markus Rex -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thanks for the info...look forward to the fix. As for the other problem with the fonts, I was having a DUH! moment. Changed the setting so that GTK apps use KDE fonts and all is fine.
