I have a .kde and a .kde4 but I find no reference to keyboard layouts after a quick look.
Gary, You will not have a keyboard layout per se, other than the default for the desktop unless you have changed it. Keyboard layout in KDE is Control Center -> Regional Accessibility -> Keyboard Layout. What manner of vnc are you using? If you are using "vncserver" then it will by default create a ~/.vnc directory in under the home directory of the user invoking vnc. If you are using some other vnc, then you may not have a .vnc directory. Provide some additional information and I'll see what I can do. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
