nevermind...duh. I rebooted and I didn't have the cd mounted. anywho. To fix it 1. Created default cfg files in my home directory...still don't know why it wasn't done automatically. 2. I removed the mesa drivers and made a link in /usr/lib to libGL.so.1 called libGL.so.1
