Yo; I've been having troubles with konqueror. <usless details> Today I right-clicked on an HTML file from an FTP site, and "open with" 'ed it with kwrite...and clicked the little check box that let me associate HTML with kwrite. After that konqueror started saying, every time I clicked on a link to a new page, "There appears to be a configuration error. You have associated Konqueror with text/html, but it can't handle this file type." I removed konqueror and kwrite from the list of programs to run HTML files with the intention of adding konqueror fresh... but adding just plain konqueror didn't work. Here's my setup: In the filetype dialog for file type /text/html I've got Konqueror and Kwrite in the "Application Preference Order" box. The "Konqueror" settings are set to run the command "kfmclient openURL %u text/html" I have never gotten this error before and don't have a clue what to do about it. I trust somebody on this high-volume list will know what to do with it. Thanx, ES -- Registered Linux user #366862 Not that you care, but this message was sent from a 750MHz Athlon system running SuSE Linux 9.1 (Kernal 2.6.5) and KMail 1.62. I aslo run Red Hat Linux 8.0 (Kernal 2.4.18), Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (Kernal 2.2.20), Mandrake Linux 9.2 (Kernal 2.4.22), and YellowDog Linux 3.0 (Kernal 2.4.20) on various systems and architectures for various reasons. Yeah, and there's a old Mac OS in there somewhere that I use as a bootloader for Linux, and a Windows XP box used as a router for my Linux-based network, but they don't count, 'cuz they aren't "real" OS's. Who me? Biased? Nah!
