Over the weekend I did a clean install of 8.0 and Windows 2000 Pro. I installed Win2k first to the first 2GB of a 20GB drive and put 8.0 on the rest with a 16MB ext3 /boot partition, followed by a 256MB SWAP, and the rest ReiserFS / I can boot to linux and access the Win2k partition, but when I restart and select windows from the boot screen, it gets to a black screen and in the upper left corner it says Loading Windows, and then it just sits there for hours and does nothing. When I used 7.3 and Win2k all worked fine, but I forgot to take a look at my lilo.conf file before I went and did a clean install. Does anyone have a similiar configuration and could include a working lilo.conf or give explicit instructions on how to get lilo to boot windows, I am pretty green when it comes to advanced linux stuff, so simplicity is of the essence. Thanks to all in advance. By the way, 8.0 seems to be the best OS that I have ever used. Kudos to the SuSE team.
