[opensuse] One more time: Lost files and mind.
I have windows vista and opensuse /kde 3.5 on the same drive, windows has been bumped off due to lack of space but the files of windows are still there. I need some of those files but due to my ignorance, have not been able to transfer. We don't have Dolphin within suse only Conquer. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You have to mount the NTFS partition(s) and then you'll be able to transfer the files you need by any tool. Easiest way is to do sudo mount -o ntfs-3g /dev/<device_of_vista_partition> /mnt Don't forget to unmount that device after you're done.
