[opensuse] [OT] Can I expect driver/other problems with this hardware under Linux?
Hi all I am beginning to have some hardware troubles with my good old P4P800, so I was thinking of grabbing me a new one: Corsair 2x2GB DDR3 SDRAM PC10666 CL9.0 XMS3 DHX http://www.corsair.com/products/xms3_dhx.aspx Gigabyte GA-EP35C-DS3R iP35, SATA2 RAID, GLAN, 8CH http://www.gigabyte.ch/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=Motherboard&ProductID=2677&ProductName=GA-EP35-DS3R Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz 1333 6MB Box http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sspec=slapl LG DVD-/+/RAM GH22LP20 22x/22x/16x LS Retail http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sspec=slapl MSI Videokaart PCI-e GeForce 9500GT 512MB 2xDVI/HDMI Silent (http://global.msi.eu/index.php?func=prodvgaspec&prod_no=1532&maincat_no=130&cat2_no=&cat3_no=#menu) OCZ Solid State Disk 30GB SATA300, 2C30G http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/flash_drives/ocz_core_series_v2_sata_i... I still have them lying around, so I guess I do not need a new one (just a decent backup program) Does this seem like a sane setup to you all? Does anyone know wether this will work under Linux?
