[opensuse] running thunderbird filters at exit?
Does anyone know if its possible to make TB automatically run filters at other times than "for incoming messages" ? For instance, I'd like to automatically delete certain messages after a certain time (when the information contained is no longer important) or I'd like to automatically archive messages older than 12 months in the appropriate folder. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (5.8°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

As far as I know you can only run its filters on incoming messages and manually.
For instance, I'd like to automatically delete certain messages after a certain time (when the information contained is no longer important) or I'd like to automatically archive messages older than 12 months in the appropriate folder.
Don't know about the archives, but you can sure delete messages older than X days. It's in your account settings somewhere. I fail to see how automatically deleting messages older than X days and archiving messages older than Y days go hand in hand. What's the point of an archive when they get deleted either way?
