[opensuse] s2ram and s2disk resume
Is there any script executed during "waking computer up" from suspend to disk and to RAM? I have some problems with compiz, espacially emeralds' window decorations, after resuming which can be resolved by simple emerald --replace (as normal, logged in user) and would like to run it on resume, but not during normal boot -- how? -- skx, http://skxpl.eu.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

OK, but "all the hooks run as user root" and I was looking for a more "user-based" solution. -- skx, http://skxpl.eu.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I tried using sudo, but it seems to have troubles with X: sudo -u skx emerald --replace (emerald:22742): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: How to run a command as user skx while resuming from suspend to disk or to RAM? -- skx, http://skxpl.eu.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

How to run a command as user skx while resuming from suspend to disk or to RAM?
Try adding "--display :0 &" Manne ps. will look around for more elegant solution -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
