[opensuse] Thunderbird memory usage has increased
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Since two or three updates, Thunderbird has gone up in memory usage. For instance, I booted the machine yesterday, hibernated it at night, restored it this morning, but surprisingly, Th is not using any swap. This did not happen before, and is rare just after hibernation for any program. See the output of "top" sorting by memory usage: top - 09:46:35 up 23:53, 2 users, load average: 0,17, 0,14, 0,26 Tasks: 458 total, 1 running, 456 sleeping, 0 stopped, 1 zombie %Cpu(s): 3,4 us, 0,4 sy, 0,0 ni, 96,1 id, 0,0 wa, 0,0 hi, 0,0 si, 0,0 st KiB Mem : 8161256 total, 2389700 free, 3092868 used, 2678688 buff/cache KiB Swap: 25165820 total, 23576484 free, 1589336 used. 4703144 avail Mem PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR SWAP S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 11580 cer 20 0 4397124 0,988g 111832 0 S 5,060 12,70 2:13.59 thunderbird-bin Something regarding memory has changed in Thunderbird. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E.
