Greetings and salutations... I'm running SuSE Linux v6.4, kernel 2.2.16. I've been trying to get AX25 set up for many months and am about to give up. I wonder if any hams out there running SuSE might be so kind as to give me a hand at getting AX25 going? I have been running TNOS v2.30 for a couple of years and it is wrought with many problems. I need to dump that in favor of the native AX25 code in Linux. I hope to eventually get netrom, Xfbb, CLX, and other applications running on my system. Can you help? Thanks in advance. 73, Gary, W7NTF Tacoma, WA TCPIP Gateway: 44.24.115.8

hey Gary, as a ham who's run linux since early '94, you'd think i'd know the answers to your problems, but no :( have you tried posting on your local WA APRS mailing list, i know here in FL there seems to be some interest still in packet with the APRS folks....... i've installed all the ham goodies a couple of times meaning to explore the operation and setup, but never have. i can forward your message onto the FL-APRS mailing list if you want..... 73's..........de KR4JX -don -- proud Linux user since kernel 1.1.54 icq#42235604
