Hi Sklim, As for what is allowable syntax, my knowledge is limited to the man page, which you likewise can read. However, I can say that as a matter of fact, in my .fetchmailrc, the appropriate line is of the form poll. pop.blahblah.com [...] user sklim there with password luckyguess is sklim here options [...] i.e. note the absence of quotation marks, domain name in this line. Or is sklim%leaderuniversal.com your username for this purpose? However, I am not speaking authoritatively about the syntax. And if your configuration works for one account, but not for more, I have no idea why. Mine works for as many accounts as you like. As for myself, I configured fetchmail with fetchmailconf, which was entirely intuitive, and worked. It can be invoked by name at the command line. Best, Corvin

That's "poll" not "poll." On Wed, Sep 13, 2000 at 11:01:12PM -0400, Corvin Russell wrote:

Hi Sklim,
It's definately worth to look into the man page and look for the included examples. My fetchmailrc looks like this and works nice: poll pop.gmx.net protocol POP3 no dns username "12345" password xxxxx to brauki here poll mail.kdt.de protocol POP3 no dns username "j.bra" password xxxxx to brauki here Mind you. there are *two* lines only. Quotation *is* an issue with the gmx account (since there are only / starts with numbers). This runs with *root* privilegs from cron. Some ISP's have weird expectations on mail names. Check that too. I think that you should put something like: poll mail.leaderuniversal.com with proto POP3
user "abx%leaderuniversal.com" there with password "123456" is
abx
here
options fetchall
