[SLE] Floppy image?
I've been trying desperately to get the 6.4 Eval installed on a computer. The problem is that the CD will not boot (even though my system is configured to boot CDs). So I'm trying to make a boot floppy. The problem with that is I can't write the image (I forgot what the image was called... it's either BOOT or initdisk.gz) to a floppy because the images are > 2 megs. Any help is greatly appreciated, .tochiro -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

The boot disk images are in the /disks subdirectory on the first CD-ROM. The standard on is (assuming a CD mount point of /cdrom): /cdrom/disks/eide01 Hope that helps, Chris -- __ _ -o)/ / (_)__ __ ____ __ Chris Reeves /\\ /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ICQ# 22219005 _\_v __/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
