[opensuse] Has anyone built gnome-2.30 with jhbuild on 11.0?
Listmates, Has anyone been successful building gnome with jhbuild on 11.0? The current jhbuild module will build gnome 2.30. All in all, it is going fairly smooth, but very very slow due to having to scavenge 11.2 src.rpms to either rebuild for 11.0 or extract the source and try it that way. Right now I'm battling udisks which requires sg3_utils & udev (for gudev). I have made it through module 77/238 with the only module given up on being libproxy. Before I waste more time on this, I would like to know if anyone has done this successfully on 11.0. I could easily see another 15 hours going into this project and I would hate to hit a showstopper at 217/238. Possible? or Wait for kde44 to fix the conflict with the gnome settings daemon so 2.2 will work again?? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. Err, I take it from the number of responses --- no one? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. It would make much more sense for you to ask on the opensuse-gnome list - where GNOME developers and packagers lurk - than on this list (which is mostly just people complaining about random things). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Good idea, OpenSuSE list # 31 to be subscribed to because nobody can be on the same list...(maybe that why it looks like nobody is on the same page). Are you sure they don't lurk here as well? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. Lurk... here? The nattering nabobs rule this list with an iron fist; lurking this list would require earth moving equipment to get through the volumes of utterly baseless whining and griping. I know I only subscribe when I want to ask a question, wait a few days to see if anything meaningful floats in, and then unsubscribe again. -- openSUSE - The LINUX for people who need to get work done. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
