106 MiB of photographs
Someone please advise how to send by email 106 MiB worth of high quality photographs. This is for an insurance claim, and it will be simpler if they can all be kept together under a single email Thanx--doug

just "attach" them to the email. if the OP cannot accept that large a file, reduce the quality of the photographs to use less mb. *or* place them on a shared server such as google drive and give the OP the address of the drive and permission to view/download/... -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode What sort of day was it? That's still a bit big for email. I believe it's somewhere around 10M. What about cloud storage? Put the file online somewhere and send to link to it. The maximum file size for Google Drive is 750 Mb.

My experience this days that 20MB can reliably be sent via e-mail. HTH, Jeffrey

Are you sure you need to send them an email? I have contacted my insurance company about car incidents twice (in about 10 years I think) and on both occasions I was able to upload them on their website. The police have also had it for at least 15 years here in Sweden. -- /bengan

Well, you keep the originals anyway, so reduce copies to a suitable size, 4x5 inch should do, and export them to jpg 80%. Your insurance might offer an upload page. Peter
