Unable to install multimedia codec files on OpenSuSE 15.5
Hmm, When I tried to install the onc-click installation files, .ymp, for Multimedia Codecs like MP3, DVD, DivX, MP4 from https://www.opensuse-community.org/ for either KDE or GNOME I get the following error message - The install link or file you opened does not contain instructions for openSUSE Leap 15.5. from the YasT 1-Click installer. I am running OpenSuSE 15.5 x64 OS. What am I doing wrong? That is not an official openSUSE site, so you would have to find the person(s) that maintain it. That said, why not use the official instructions in the wiki ? -- Gertjan Lettink a.k.a. Knurpht openSUSE Forums Team openSUSE Mods Team

It was a recommended set of instructions in the past.

Why don't you post the link? -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.5 x86_64 at Telcontar)

I have these bookmarked: https://en.opensuse.org/OpenH264 https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Installing_codecs_from_Packman_repositories Are the Packman codecs needed or useful? -- Robert Webb
The Packman codecs are extremely useful. I have always used them, with great success and satisfaction. Per Inge Oestmoen, Norway

It is normal for upstream kernel which allows building of external modules without building of vmlinux first. For openSUSE I guess you could try bug report. https://en.opensuse.org/OpenH264 https://geometrydashsubzero.net
I have always had a lot of fun and success with them. Here are some that I bookmarked: https://en.opensuse.org/OpenH264 https
