setting up my own mail server
Help! I have susbcribed to the no-ip DNS redirection service, and it works (fxf.no-ip.org). I have a domain name, which is correctly configured and is redirected to my webpage (www.nibz.org). I a running a SuSE linux box, and am trying to set up a mail server; I have postfix set up, I can send mail ok; I have ipop3d running, but I cannot receive mail sent to fx@nibz.org or fx@fxf.no-ip.org. In the No-IP manage hosts section, I have set up mail to use mail.nibz.org. If I ping mail.nibz.org, it returns my ip address, so it looks right to me. Idem with pop.nibz.org Have I overlooked anything? thanks Fx -- _______________________ Courtesy of SuSE Linux
