[S.u.S.E. Linux] How after the installation to create a boot disk on a LS-120 ?
Hello, I'm a new user of S.U.S.E 5.2. My computer don't have a 'normal' floppy but a LS-120. Then when the installation is completed how to create a boot on my LS-120 to let reboot on this fresh new install ? Or at least is it possible to re-boot on my CD and to specify to boot on my Linux partition ? Currently there's no way to do this using YaST. The LS-120 is accessed as a removable hard drive (/dev/hdd instead of /dev/fd0). So you'll have to create a bootdisk manually. But normally this isn't really necessary as you can use the installation boot disk to start your installed system.

Yes. Just boot like for an installation. When linuxrc starts, just choose "start installation/system" -> "boot installed system". No specify your root partition and the installed system will be started. Oh yes: Of course you might need to load some modules for your hardware before you boot the system this way.
