I have been using lprng on other distros for quite some time and am pretty satisfied with it overall. I just did fresh suse 7 installs (yeah, Lenz! :)) on a number of boxen here. I am curious about the dependency that lprold has on apsfilter. How do people go from lprold to lprng? Do you uninstall apsfilter first and then reinstall after removing lprold? I searched on the sdb and did not see any information about upgrading to lprng.
Sorry, I have no clue about printing :( I would recommend you simply ignore the dependency and replace lprold with lprng.
Thanks and Happy Thanksigiving!
Same to you all!
Lenz, if you are reading along... Hope to see you in New York in Jan :)
Yes, I will be there.
I am hoping that SuSE sponsors a beer garden at the Linuxworld show! That last one was kinda fun.
Well, let's see :) LenZ -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Lenz Grimmer SuSE GmbH mailto:grimmer@suse.de Schanzaeckerstr. 10 http://www.suse.de/~grimmer/ 90443 Nuernberg, Germany This sentense contains three errurs
