Hello Wondering if anyone knows how to grep for an ip address on an dsl connection i do have one line that finds the 10.XX.XX.XX ip but would like to find the real ip so someone can connect to it seems ifconfig also just shows the 10 ip thanks for any info BOB

/sbin/ifconfig | grep inet | grep -v 127.0 | grep -v inet6 | cut -f2 -d: | cut -f1 -d" " This script was just given to me by Alvaro Novo. It should do the trick.
