You have a point, although I had none of those troubles with the lower 2.2.* kernels. I'll most likely end up buying it, like always. Now I'll have to install a DVD, too. Michael Hasenstein wrote:

For myself, I'm wondering why I should bother, this close to the release of the 2.4 kernel. When that gets released, there's sure to be a fresh round of updates from virtually everybody, including SuSE.
What makes you think we're close? What makes you think 2.4.0 (dot ZERO) will be more stable than the other dot-zeros before? So far I - personally - always waited for the 3rd version number to become two-digit (>9).

Hi all, I run a local Apache server for testing purposes. The Apache folder is shared across the network thus : ---From smb.conf----------- [schoolci] comment = WWW System path = /usr/local/apache public = no create mode = 775 writeable = yes volume = "www_system" valid users = @wwwgroup browseable = yes -------------------------------- Once the pages are tested , our web team synchronises the production site with the local site ... The uploads from the Local site to the Production work great, but while downlading , they get an irritating error message message box ...that says eg 'Not enough space to download newlogo.gif Override ? ' ......The overwride works .. There is over 3 Gb of space on this partition .... So , what could be the problem ?
