Contribution in Samba development.
Dear my friends... I heard that samba is developped with kylix. I want to take apart in their development activity. Anybody can tell me how I can register myself. is it difficult to get a change for taking apart in contributing? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I suspect you mean "to participate" ... to take apart, is to take a car, and start removing all it's parts until you have no car left, only a bunch of spare parts.
I don't understand what you meant. I really want to take apart. I need some experiece in that field. Where should I apply to if I want to join this software development? Is it difficult? --- rn_Hansen <orn.hansen@swipnet.se> wrote:

Örn is quite right you know, you mean you'd like to participate. You could look it up in a dictionary. Regarding samba, you could go to their website: http://samba.org/ where I notice they have details of a mailing list. Why don't you subscribe to it and get a feel for the project before attempting to "take it apart".. Jake

Look up the words "take apart" in a dictionary: they mean break, dissassemble. You should have said: "take a part" (note the space). -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson

I don't think the difference between 'take a part' and 'take apart' is big enough to warrant confusion. In any case, the 'english' in 'suse-linux-english' isn't a part of the topic. If it were, I might have made a joke about someone who confuses "its" with "it's" correcting other people's use of English. As it is, I'll keep such thoughts to myself.
