[S.u.S.E. Linux] SuSEconfig and default runlevel
Hello, this get's a bit annoying: since I've installed 5.2, everytime SuSEconfig is run, the default runlevel in inittab is changed from 3 to 2. There _must_ be a variable in rc.config, but I can't find it. Thanks Jürgen -- ========================================== __ _ Jürgen Braukmann e-mail: brauki@cww.de | / / (_)__ __ ____ __ Tel: 0201-743648 dk4jb@db0qs.#nrw.deu.eu | / /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ========================================== /____/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

You're right -- please set
CHECK_INITTAB=no
But it shouldn't be necessary, if you set the DISPLAYMANAGER variable, e.g.,
DISPLAYMANAGER=xdm
Thank's a lot! I would not have thought of them!! -- ========================================== __ _ Jürgen Braukmann e-mail: brauki@cww.de | / / (_)__ __ ____ __ Tel: 0201-743648 dk4jb@db0qs.#nrw.deu.eu | / /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ========================================== /____/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
