KDE2.1.1 - Any Feedback?
Has anyone tried 2.1.1 yet? Any noticeable improvements on 2.1? SuSE 7.1 arrived in the post with Applix 5.0 this morning. Now if I could just wave a magic wand to make this work on my desk disappear I could start on some install heaven. Jethro

You get all of the improvements of KDE-2.1 without the wierd bugs that popped up in the KDE-2.1 rpms. - v -- Victor R. Cardona vcardona@home.com "Behold the keyboard of Kahless, the greatest Klingon code warrior that ever lived!"
Actually, I still have the splash-screen hang, AND the delayed logout problem... Is there anything I am supposed to do after installing? Do I need to run Suseconfig or anything? I rebooted, and all apps show KDE 2.1.1 version... Help! Charles Marcus

I no longer have that problem. I did rename my ~/.kde2 directory, and KDE created a new one. Perhaps that might have fixed the problem. - v -- Victor R. Cardona vcardona@home.com "Behold the keyboard of Kahless, the greatest Klingon code warrior that ever lived!"
Are there any KDE 2.1.1 RPMS available from suse yet?
Are they on the ftp server somewhere?
Thanks,

I installed rpm's from SuSE site with Yast1. I didn't removed old ~/.kde2. All working fine except long logout which i had under 2.1 too. I have SuSE 7.0, XFree 4.03, krnel 2.4.2. Mitja On Wednesday 28 March 2001 17:07, you wrote:
