[S.u.S.E. Linux] First Install - YaST problem :(
Dear SuSE: I am starting my first SuSE install on a blank HD, and have a problem when quitting YaST. Per the SuSE 5.1 book, pg.42, after I am done defining my partitions and selecting my packages, I should select 'finish installation and exit YaST'. The partitions will then be written, and I will go to the shell prompt, where I _must_ shutdown, to finish the setup. However, YaST _does not_ take me back to the shell when I select 'finish and exit'. My pc gets booted from scratch at this point, so I am unable to "shutdown -r now". I would think this halts my install, and won't allow me to proceed to the next step. Up to this point, everything was a-okay. Thanks for any help, T.J.
