[opensuse] Manual configuration of a new network interface
Could someone tell me which file should I modify in order to manually configure a new network interface ? The configuration I would like to use is as follows: auto tap0 iface tap0 inet static address 10.1.6.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 network 10.1.6.0 broadcast 10.1.6.255 vde-switch vde-net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I think your network config file should be: /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-tap0. /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (5.3°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
