Hi All, Now been up and running with SuSE 10.3 for 48 hours and no so called lockups. I had turned off the wireless section of my router and this had the effect of no lockups. But, this also means none of the other pc's from the grandchildren could not connect to the internet. I turned on the wireless router and as per the suggestion tried each channel in turn from 1 to 13. I found from channel 7 onwards the effects of the locking mouse and keyboard started to slow down and dissappear by the time I got to channel 11. This is still using my old favourite mouse and keyboard. Thanks for all the help and suggestions people.
