[opensuse] Leap of Faith: OK, I give up!
I installed k9copy in Leap of Faith a few minutes ago. YaST2 shows that it is installed. But -- unlike 13.2 -- I cannot find it showing in any of the Applications launch menu items -- eg, Multimedia. Using ALT-F2 launches k9copy. Is there something I need to set in the new Applications launching menus in Leap to be able to see k9copy in the Start menu? In the start menu, you can type the name. The app should show up. Then right click on the ICON and select what you want. I think... -- Roger Oberholtzer -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

LOL .. "I think..". Say no more. However you simply must agree that Leap of Faith is the bestest version of openSUSE put forward as an alternative to other available systems - and therefore kudos to all those who made it so. Reserving judgment until I see X actually working on older ATI hardware, particularly laptops. But it is good to hear something other than scowls, and I take it that it is actually much more of a "release" than the "release" of KDE 4.0.4 with 11.0? Patiently waiting... -- David C. It is still Basil. He's just wearing a straight jacket and spouting the company line. Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

The platitudes should be making alarm bells sound loudly among the community at the change and minions that MicroFocus has brought to openSuSE... Time will tell... It always does. -- David C. I think I noticed the same when I installed knode a while ago.
