kprinter "DragNDrop" KTip
KTip: Want to print by using "DragNDrop"? Drag a file and drop it on the "Files" tab of an opened kprinter dialog. Then continue as you would normally: select a printer, job options, etc. and click the "Print" button. I typed "kprinter" in a Konsole to get the Kprinter dialog but there is no "Files" tab. Is there a way to print using "DragNDrop"? Thanks, Jerome

Thanks. Your tip is more of SuSE-KDE thing, but thanks, nonetheless.

I did just that (running "kprinter" in a Konsole) to try our your tip. There definitely was a "Files" tab. I've tried it twice, once to print an HTML file and once a PNG file. Unfortunately, it simply printed the HTML source rather than interpret it through, say, Konqueror.
Thanks, Jerome

What I see in the kprinter dialogue: It says "Print-kprinter" in the Title bar and it has ten buttons: Name, Toggle printer filtering(icon), add printer(icon), Properties, open file dialog, Expand, System Options..., Help, Print, and Cancel. Some other text: State, Type, Location, Comment. No tabs at all. This is true for me on 9.1 and 9.2 but I would like to see what you see. Jerome
