Hello, Since quite some time the sound gets lost during boottime. After the system is up and running I always have to run alsaconf to get the sound back. Quite annoying situation. In my opinion it al started after the installation of VirtualBox but I'm not sure of that at all. I've removed VB but alas still no sound. I'm using OpenSuse 11.1, KDE 3.5.10 "release 82" I really haven't a clue where to search for a solution. Below you can find extracts of the log files. /var/log/boot.msg Starting INET services.
