[opensuse] printer ML-1710 no longer supported in 11.4?
The small laser printer Samsung ML-1710 was supported until openSUSE 11.3 with a Foomatic gdi ppd. This printer is no longer listed under the CUPS+Gutenprint ppds for OS 11.4. Only 1750 is listed and it does not work with the older printer. Is there a way to use the old ppd? When I try to simply load the old ppd, I get: "/etc/cups/ppd/samsungML1710.ppd: FAIL **FAIL** Missing cupsICCProfile file "/System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/sRGB Profile.icc"! **FAIL** Missing cupsICCProfile file "/System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/sRGB Profile.icc"! **FAIL** Missing cupsICCProfile file "/System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Generic CMYK Profile.icc"!
