Yast2 System-->Mount Points
Hi. I have been told, that there is a module in Yast2 System called Mount Points, but I cannot find it. How can I get it ?. Erik Jakobsen

Thank you again Josephine. I found the place, and had the idea, that what I entered here was placed in /etc/fstab, but no. I'm not sure how to prepare the mount point to be shown in the edit field. Now I got it, and can mount the wanted harddisk. What can be entered in the 2 fields: Volume label and Arbitrary option value ?. Here is what the Yast2 has entered in the /ets/fstab according to what I entered there: /dev/hdf3 /media/hdf ext2 ro,user,acl 1 2 Erik

Thanks you for your reply. And RTFM and so on. You forgot the man mount. They are all ok, but they are also difficult to understand, at least to me. Also they are not given "normal" examples if any at all. Erik.

Volume label: The name entered in this field is used as the volume label. This normally only makes sense when you activate the option for mounting by volume label. Arbitrary Option Value: In this field, type any legal mount option allowed in the fourth field of /etc/fstab. Mutiple options are separated by commas. For more mount option, check man mount. If you just need the regular mounting, trust yast. Usually, in the left side of yast, all the values from the right side are explained. Josephine
