Hi all, Just wanted to know if there is a known problem with Suse smp kernels after 2.6.16.13-4? I am unable to use 2.6.16.21-0.13 and 2.6.16.21-0.21, keyboard and timekeeping seems to go haywire with both. It's a known problem for some of us... I can't use anything at all except the stock 10.1 SMP kernel... anything newer and my keyboard goes crazy. It's been discussed at length on the list here (over several threads), and the resolution... well.. there isn't one I've heard/seen yet (that's reasonable) except to simply use the 10.1 stock kernel. It seems to be a very intermittant problem... as in, some people have the issue and for others it works fine. If ANYONE has a solution I'd love to hear it. Is there a bugzilla item for this issue you could point me at? Sven --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, has been discussed. And there is resolution, at least worked for me in KDE and was presented.

Was probably the first thing I tried, no luck. It's not only a keyboard problem, as the system load increases the system clock starts running faster. Running games like Torcs is impossible with this kernel. -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
