OT downloading of different files at the same time
Just waiting for the security patches to download. Xfree86 takes quit some time. And with my relatively unstable dialup I do not like to take chances. Is it possible to download two files from different sources at the same time or do I run the chance that e.g. my patch download is interrupted during such a practice? I found out that sending and receiving email does not interrupt the flow that much. Somebody with the necessary insight?

I would suggest that if you are downloading via a dial-up, you limit yourself to one download at a time. Jake
