My browser (IE5) on my client (Win2000) dies before my router (SuSE 6.4+wvdial.dod+modem) connects to the site. Can I either give IE a longer timeout or give linux a longer time out? We have the same problem here. The timeout you are having trouble with is probably either in the browser, or in the IP stack on that machine. Changing the timout on a Linux box wouldn't help. Since the machine you are experiencing the problem on is not running SuSE Linux, this isn't the best place to go for a solution. In the meantime, the browser has a Reload button... -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
