Thanks Masaru Nomiya, for your thoughts, I deleted all the nVidia related packages that I could, installed the nVidia repository, and then installed what I guessed were the appropriate nVidia packages, using YaST. Could it be that the driver components you installed have a different version?

If everything is the same version, then this kind of message won't appear.
