[opensuse] Python error
Hi all, I know its just I need to install something, but I'm not sure what. When I give this command: python setup.py install I get this error: running install error: invalid Python installation: unable to open /usr/lib/python2.5/config/Makefile (No such file or directory) I have python 2.5.2 installed on SuSE 11.1 but I guess that I'm missing something. Can someone tell me what? Thanks, JIM -- Jim Hatridge Linux User #88484 Ebay ID: WartHogBulletin WartHog Bulletin Info about new German Stamps http://warthog.18-t.com/ Many Enemies -- Much Honor! You have python 2.5.2 on 11.1? It ships with python 2.6 Anyway, for whatever python version you have installed, there must be a python-devel package, which contains the file the installer is looking for Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
