[opensuse] Manual Network Setup
Hello, Is it possible to setup networking manually in Opensuse10.2? For example editing /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth-id-macaddress, /etc/sysconfig/hardware/hwcfg-bus-pci-0000:05:00.0, etc... Because by looking inside those files, some parameter is generated by Yast only? Such as: UNIQUE='rBUF.Uqsm48o37IB' Thank you very much, -- Fajar Priyanto | Reg'd Linux User #327841 | Linux tutorial http://linux2.arinet.org 3:46pm up 8:12, 2.6.18.2-34-default GNU/Linux Let's use OpenOffice. http://www.openoffice.org

Yes, of course.

Ignore those, they matter to YaST only. Cheers -J -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
