SuSE 9.1 Pro - Heimdal/Samba/Active Directory
I'm trying to get one of my SuSE 9.1 Pro systems to communicate to my university's Microsoft Active Directory Servers. I currently have heimdal-0.6.1rc3-55.6, heimdal-lib-0.6.1rc3-51, and the samba 3.0.7 rpms from SuSE installed on the system. When I try to get a ticket through kinit, I get the following error message: kinit: krb5_get_init_creds: Response too big for UDP, retry with TCP I have a few questions: Does Heimdal-0.6.1rc3 support kerberos over TCP? If it does, what modifications do I need to allow in /etc/krb.conf to allow for it to be used? I'm trying to minimise the number of packages that I have to build on the system to insure consistency in my orginisation, I'm hoping to find a solution that utilises what comes with a "stock" SuSE install to take advantage of the online updates. Thans in advance, rami
