bugzilla search - what am I doing wrong??
I reported bug 160128 last night, after carefully searching for PHYSDEVDRIVER to make sure it wasn't reported before. My search brought nothing, yet this morning I find the report marked duplicate of bug 159893. Try searching for PHYSDEVDRIVER in the summary, and you should see at least 2 reports: 159893 and 160128, but nothing is found?!? I would also expect to have seen 159062 listed, but I can't even view that one. The incredibly long URL: https://bugzilla.novell.com/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=PHYSDEVDRIVER&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=anywords&keywords=&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=NEEDINFO&bug_status=REOPENED&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailqa_contact2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0= So, is something buggy in the bugzilla search function? /Per Jessen, Zürich

You just do not have permission to view it. I moved it to 10.1, so you should now be able to. Ciao, Marcus

So, is something buggy in the bugzilla search function?
The bugs are fixed, try the following search which is based on yours: https://bugzilla.novell.com/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=PHYSDEVDRIVER&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=anywords&keywords=&deadlinefrom=&deadlineto=&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailqa_contact2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0= Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

Would it be possible to use something like http://tinyurl.com for these long URLS? houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. Sie ist das Kostbarste, was wir haben, denn es ist unwiederbringliche Lebenszeit. Leben ist aber mehr als Werk und Arbeit, und das Sein wichtiger als das Tun - Johannes Müller-Elmau

Thanks Andreas - it never occured to me to have to change the default status. I wonder if it's my profile somewhere - when I search to see if something's already reported and/or fixed, I'd rather have a default to see all regardless of status. /Per Jessen, Zürich
