[opensuse] Recent update to kde3.5.9 on 11 x86_64 broke Javascript/Cookies in konqueror
Listmates, A much needed site stopped working in konqueror. The site says cookies and java-script are not working. This worked until up to about 10 days ago. Can anyone else get to http://www.westlaw.com with konqueror? Event trying the "text only" link listed on the site fails complaining about cookies. I've checked setting and they are OK. What say the web gurus on the list? -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E. What about Firefox? I heard those Westlaw guys had a huge Outage? Or did I dream that? Maybe something went gunny sack on their restore? Maybe you have to tell Kong to Lie about what browser it is. -- ----------JSA--------- Someone stole my tag line, so now I have this rental. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

FF works fine. You won't believe it, but the westlaw folks actually support Linux! I'll call and they have walked me through the browser configs before. They actually welcome the feedback. I'll put them to work again. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E. I was another STUCK SETTING problem in konqueror. The configuration was set to "Accept All" cookies. I changed the radio button "Ask for confirmation", saved and then did nothing but change the radio button back to "Accept All" and konqueror is again working fine. This is getting frustrating. This is the 3rd such stuck setting in konqueror that has really screwed things up in the past month. See also: ([opensuse] kde 3.5 konqueror MultiColumn View scrunched) - 8/2/2008. Where should the bug report on stuck konqueror settings be filed. bugzilla.novell as usual or kde? -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
