Sorry, my new HD started having errors, so I had to replace, which meant reinstall and reupgrade. I don't think it was like this before, but is there an AM/PM option for the clock app in kicker? KDE2.2.2, SuSE 7.3, 2.4.16. It is now in a 24 hr format, and though I have looked and looked, I find no place to change it. TIA for any help. :-) -- Joe & Sesil Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871

Right click on the clock applet and choose "Date & Time Format". On the Locale tab, ensure that "United States of America (us)" is chosen, and your clock will switch to 12 hour format after you log out/in again. Thanks Steven. I also found out that it is possible to click on the i beside maximize button, drop it on the time format line, which gave an excellent explanation of the variables. Thanks again. -- Joe & Sesil Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871
